Favorite shots from 2012! Sort of in order but not really.

Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band

There’s a magazine called Live Local! And I have a photo in there of Maza Blaska! Neat.

Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra
November 13, 2012
St. Andrews Hall
Detroit, MI
(Yes, my car was broken into while visiting Detroit. Thankfully no windows were broken and the only thing in my trunk was dirty laundry. Which the left behind.)
Quite a wonderful show by Amanda Palmer, one half of the Dresden Dolls, who is nearing the end of her tour for her second solo album.
Philip Cogley was on tour. Now he’s home!

Travis Hoewischer had a birthday! He celebrated by having the super-awesome-funtime band Tin Armor plus a bagillion other special guests play through the The Band’s Last Waltz.
Happy birthday Travis!
Raveonettes & Melody’s Echo Chamber
September 29, 2012
A&R Music Bar
The last time I saw the Raveonettes I was celebrating my 22nd birthday at Little Brothers (and shooting film!). And I’m pretty sure they were supposed to appear at SXSW a couple years ago but there was some rumor that Sharon Foo couldn’t obtain her visa in time. What a bummer.
What a long time coming for a second show.
This past Thursday and Friday I had the privilege of photographing the opening ceremony for the Annie Leibovitz gallery opening.
Meeting one of my heros was such a thrill! *understatement*
Here are a few shots from the night.
First off… Annie Leibovitz and meeee!!!
