When their sets were canceled at Sonic Temple, Refused, Distillers, Bravo Artist and Archie Fox Live came together to organize a last minute show at Ace of Cups.
Car Seat Headrest and Naked Giants visited Columbus for a sold out show at the Newport. Here are some photos from that show.
The old foundry down the street is finally being demolished. I made sure to do a little exploring before it’s gone.
“Modern Brass Foundry operated on the site from 1927 to 1958. The Modern Sign and Signal Company was on the southern side of the property from 1932 to 1937.” Dispatch
The house next to the foundry was built in 1900 and only owned by a few families over the last century. The building has been empty since 2014.

Ace of Cups
I am beginning the continuation of my Celluloid Shadows project.
I am developing a continuing project documenting theaters that are striving to thrive in the world of the corporate multiplex and the Drexel is a prime example of that. I’d be honored to have the opportunity to photograph the theater during this phase.
Looking forward to making this a tangible thing!
