What a busy day! Again and as always I started the morning with a clear plan through the day which was immediately destroyed. Thankfully my first planned event was not something I had to wake up at 8am for (I’m looking at you Nick Cave!).

Began my morning with Amanda Palmer, who I was not stalking today, and her awesome panel made up of people from Girlie Action (I love you Girlie Action! You’re the nicest PR people I’ve ever dealt with!), Kickstarter and others who were involved with her madly successful campaign on producing and releasing her last album.

She ended her talk with a ukulele song. As you do.

After this I decided to test my luck and see if I could get into the Nick Cave show at Stubbs even though I didn’t win the ticket raffle.

Today I’ve already slept through the big Dave Grohl keynote talk. Ah well, yay sleep. Here are some things I’m looking forward to today.
Lone Bellow (great band I discovered yesterday) is playing at Antone’s at 3:40 and again at the Entertainment Weeklky Showcase at 6:30 at 612 E 6th, Stevie Nicks interview at 5pm in 18ABCD, Akron band the Ridges at 7pm at Ja Blacks, Pyyramids (Tim Nordwind from OKGo) is playing at 8pm at the Whiskey Room, Small Black, Bleached, Foxygen Phosporescent, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra all begin at 8pm at Red 7, Von Grey is playing at 8pm on the Maggie Mae’s Rooftop along with Diego Garcia from Elefant at 10pm, Sinkane is playing at 10pm and !!! at midnight at the Clive Bar. Both playing at might are The Presets at Belmont and Divine Fits at the Lustre Pearl. Have fun today!
